Born in Mexico City, Krytzia is a global artist with long sojourns in France, Spain, Venezuela, the Netherlands, US (NY and California).

Her influences are myriad. Her canvases need to be experienced from a distance and then inspected up close. Her organic style infuses temperature, minerals, sand, texture and color from the world around her and working in nature she says “makes me feel like I’m bringing part of that experience into my work”. Investigating her expansive works you find bits of leaves, grains of sand, fabric, even plastic refuse embedded in the canvas.

Climate Change is always on her mind and she is both deeply connected to nature and concerned. She sees her bold work as a way to honor and create an artistic call to action.

ABOUT KRYTZIA

Krytzia is an artist whose art is earthy and ethereal. Her work is often large scale, organic and inspired by natural colors, textures and moods. She is inspired most by humans, nature, and their interconnected past and future. Krytzia’s paintings and sculptures evoke the natural world as well as the common link between all mankind.

Working out of Henry Mattise’s old studio in Paris and in San Francisco, Krytzia’s paintings and sculptures are now spread across the world. She has had exhibitions in the United States, Mexico, France, Venezuela, Czech Republic, and Hungary. She has paintings and sculptures permanently residing in the OECD in Paris, UNESCO in Mexico City, the World Trade Center in Mexico City, and numerous international private collections.
